One of mums final wishes was to just have family flowers at her funeral and for people wishing to donate to donate to this charity which was close to her heart and which she donated to regularly.
Mam always appreciated her good health.  She could never pass a cancer charity and used to have a box from a children’s cancer charity on her shelf at home.  She hated to see “bairns” suffering and would have been so pleased to see money going to such a worthy cause.
Coming together as friends and family we raised money in Emilia's memory by hosting a Memorial Show.
Gracie was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma on Mother's Day 2023 and unfortunately passed away 19th October 2023
Due to covid, we were unable to have a proper send off for Graham soon after he passed.   Now we have organised a celebration of life to remember him.     We would appreciate a donation to this chosen charity . This charity would always pull at Grahams heartstrings when he saw it on TV, especially after his diagnosis.
His main hobbies were working with metal and wood making scale models of traction engines, gypsy caravans and carts.
This page has been set up in memory our late Mother, Isobel Keane.   Mum was diagnosed with bladder cancer in September 2022 and underwent major surgery in October.  Tragically, shortly after this we were give the news that the cancer had spread and was now terminal.
Marcel and Jean always loved to support children’s cancer causes after losing their own children too young.
Sadly, Vinny had suffered in the past few years with a hernia. It was due to complications with this that he was admitted to hospital and sadly passed on the morning of 21st August at the age of 65. 65 years feels too brief a time to have had Vinny here with us, to be able to call him husband, father, son, and friend.
I'm fundraising this money, to deal with this big & evil monster, Cancer.
Jackie was a lovely, kind hearted, beautiful lady. She cared so much for others, after battling cancer herself, her last wishes was to raise money so children don’t have to battle like she did. Jackie has raised lots of money over the years of her life and now her family would like to raise money in her name. We will forever miss Jackie.
Jean supported this charity for many years for all the good work they do to look after the children and their families who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis.    She was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends, bowling, dancing, mothering us all.
Mum told us before she died that she didn’t want flowers at the funeral as flowers are for the living and not the dead. She instead requested that any donations should go towards children who had cancer as this upset her greatly and she wanted to help.
Loving memory of my wonderful daughter
Joan loved nothing more than her family, animals and of course children . This charity would be close to her heart.
My lovely husband who always looked after me, sadly he developed cancer & I cared for him.
The family dedicate this page to the memory of John William King.
My mother was the most generous, caring.kindest, loving person you could hope to have in your life. Joyce cared and worried about everyone most of all her family. She adored her husband Terry her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren. Mum was full of fun and laughter and love.
He was such a bonny boy but after contracting chicken pox he took such a long time to recover. He developed a cough which never went away and then was diagnosed with a tumour. So very very sad to watch him fade away.
My dad was a long time supporter of Children with Cancer UK and I cannot think of a more fitting tribute than to continue that support as I remember significant days each year.
Sadly, Ken lost his battle with cancer and passed away on 13th August 2022. He would have been proud to be associated with the Children with Cancer charity.     There will be a church memorial service at 11:00 on Saturday 22nd October 2022 to celebrate the life of Ken and intern his ashes.
Kim lost her own battle with Lung Cancer on Tuesday 2nd November 2021 at the age of 64. Kim cared so much for her family and friends and will be missed dearly by everyone that knew her.
Our amazing little girl was suddenly taken from us one fateful night in the most tragic of circumstances.    Sadie had several cardiac arrests that evening and we later found out this was caused by a huge tumour in her chest. She was eventually diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma/Leukemia, a very rare type of cancer.
